Lower global supply boosts Brazil?s role

Cepea, January 15, 2026 – Initial estimates indicate that Brazil may reach a new record soybean output in the 2025/26 season. Global supply, however, is expected to decline, mainly due to lower production in the United States and Argentina. This scenario is likely to further increase Brazil’s role in the international market, with the country potentially accounting for around 60% of global soybean supply
