Cepea, October 17, 2025 – Some purchasers were trying to close deals in the spot market in São Paulo, especially Icumsa 150 crystal sugar, in mid-October. Due to the limited supply, since a significant part of the product has been allocated to exports, players from mills in SP aimed to sell sugar at firm prices.
Although the demand has increased slightly during the 2025/26 crop in the spot market, this scenario has not been enough to boost quotations
