Cepea, October 2, 2026 – Soybean prices remained firm in late September, influenced by lower supply, as farmers were reluctant to trade large volumes both for prompt delivery (remaining volumes from the 2025/26 crop) and under forward contracts for the 2026/27 season. Moreover, concerns about weather conditions and the possible impacts of El Niño on the development of the new crop, along with the appreciation of the US dollar against the Brazilian Real, also supported prices.
