Supply decreases, and price for tahiti lime more than doubles

Cepea, November 18, 2021 – The supply of tahiti lime is fading in the orchards in São Paulo State (SP), which is not typical for this time of the year. With the return of rains in October, fruits development stepped up, and a large volume was harvested at once last month, resulting in low availability in November.

Thus, after the devaluations between September and October, prices reacted in the first fortnight of November – in some regions, values rose by 30 Reais per 27-kilo box
