CATTLE – Despite the ban from China on Brazilian beef exports since early September, after the report of two cases of mad cow disease in Brazil, the Asian country is still the number one destination for the national beef. In September, shipments to China set a record, which underpinned the total exported at record levels too. Other important destinations for the Brazilian beef have been Chile and the United States, the number three and four major destinations for the national product, respectively
